I know how to download music on my iPod, but how can I download music videos?

This is a very family that has a very simple and easy solution.

The first thing to consider when playing music, or videos or movies on the iPod is the question of compatibility. This sounds more complicated than it really is, but it is absolutely necessary to have a computer to download and play on your iPod. It is like trying to make orange marmalade Lemons - not only is possible unless you have the converted files.

The best way to see if a movie or music video is supported in the first place is to open the iTunes interface. Next, the video source you want to copy and select the "manage songs and playlists" in the iPod tab in iTunes preferences section. Once you have selected the tab, and then try copying the video file or music of the movie directly to your iPod library. If music or video copies of films for the iPod will be compatible and must be able to play without problems.

However, if the music video or a movie does not copy directly to the library of the iPod means that you have a compatibility problem. This is not the end of the world, only means that if you really want this music on your iPod video that you have to convert it.

There are many converters on the open market, but many more of the most decent will cost anything from $ 15 - $ 35. Using this method of conversion which means you have to convert the file, either in a notebook or PC before transferring the file.

One thing that is important to know is that if you have an iPod formatted for Mac, then it will only be able to add the file from a Mac and not a Windows-based PC.

Another way to tell if a video is compatible is similar to the previous method. I found that this method is most effective - simply open QuickTime (hopefully you already have installed, if not, it's free, just look for the site and download QuickTime).

All you do is open QuickTime, choose 'Window' and click cortometraje information. If the video you're looking to copy the records (shown) in the info window, then it will be compatible with the iPod!

The easiest method!

There is an easier method to study and this is the use of specialized sites that cater to the discharge of the iPod. These are commonly referred to as unlimited download sites. The benefit of these sites, the most reputable, that is not much more than $ 35 (lifetime membership). IPod users can download music videos, movies and music from one source, free of viruses and software for the conversion of sites that are included as part of the package.

This means you will be able to download music videos on your iPod with the fewest complications. Meanwhile, the selection of music, music videos and movies are not as extensive as iTunes in most of these sites have very current movies and music videos in the database files. This means you will have access to video files of music you are willing to transfer to your iPod in almost all cases.
